Angelina A. DeMidio, 91, entered into the arms of the lord February 18th, 2012 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center in Guilderland.
Born in Schenectady, NY, August 14, 1920, she was the daughter of the later Peter and Raffaela Cuoco Favata. She was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School.
Angelina and her husband owned Mike's Bait and Tackle on Broadway Hill in Schenectady, NY. She was a homemaker most of her life.
Survivors include a daughter, Marcia (James) Kochan of Rotterdam, a son Peter DeMidio of York Beach, ME. A sister Lucia Bianchi of Scotia and sister-in-law Felicia Favata of Albany. Four grandchildren, Michele Williams, Stephen (Rene) Borst, Nicole DeMidio and Terri Lupi. Four Great grandchildren, Robert, Bryant and Brandon Williams and Giada Ann Borst, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Michael DeMidio, a son Michael DeMidio, Jr., her brothers Clement, Gerald, Vincent and Peter.
A memorial mass for Angelina will be held Friday June 8th, 2012 at 9:30 am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 210 Princetown Rd. Rotterdam, NY. Inurnment will be St. John's Cemetery, Brandywine Ave., Schenectady. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cooley's Anemia Foundation, 330 7th Ave. Suite 900, New York, NY 10001 or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 5 Computer Drive West, Suite 100 Albany, NY 12205.
