My heart is broken that I couldn't see him before he left us.Chuck was the greatest man I've ever met. My only solice is that he is once again reunited with his beloved Gail. My condolences to the family.

We thank God for knowing you as a friend and my predecessor as rector of St Paul's, Schenectady. Jane and I are so blessed to have known you, and to have your love and support over the years...We will never forget you and Gail making the trip to RI to visit us, and we are so thankful that we got to see you at the Turf a couple(?) of years ago over dinner with you and other friends and former parishioners...Rest in peace, old friend. God bless you and Gail, especially for your friendship.

So many memories of Chuck with the Schenectady Pipe Band.....whether it was driving us to the competitions at the Games, or to the I Love New York commercial at Alexandria Bay. Then his opening the Capital District Scottish Games every year for at least 30 years, and praying all year for good weather for the Games. He was always the gentile giant, with that signature smile! Thanks, Chuck, for all the great memories.

Chuck was the strongest, kindest, happiest, family and community centric person I have ever known. Sweeping Aunt Polly "off her wheel chair and carrying her up our steep stairs amazes me to this day. Chuck was a great Uncle-in-law. May he and Gail rest in pease, together, forever. Love you man.

The greatest man I ever knew. I had the privilege of sharing over thirty years of my life with Chuck. He raised me through the church and at home, and was a perfect partner for my mom. They are together now, just in time for St. Valentine's Day.
