Looking back to my first encounter, I recall Robin, eLeri, Baroness of Concordia, where, presiding over court, her quick wit and banter with Baron Emerson kept the populous entertained and gave me a reason to participate in the SCA. I later discovered Robin was fellow chemist at the DEC where our paths occasionally crossed; I always felt richer for our encounter.

Robin exemplified grace and joy, faced her challenges with courage, optimism and hope, and despite her illness, always offered a welcoming smile, a laugh and comfort to others in need.

May Robin's soul be forever blessed. We will miss her.

John

I wrote this to my colleages and friends at work, (DEC), where I had the priviledge of reconnecting with Robin through the last several years. She was a kind, sweet soul. Taken from us too early, but I know she is free of her pain, and smiling at us, as we think of her today.

Though I wish I had known Robin (eLeri) better, I have always admired her grace and friendliness. She was never too busy for a warm greeting, and her genuine smile lit up the room. She was a fine example of courtesy and nobility, and I will miss her. My sincere sympathy to all who loved her.

I remember many years ago, when we were in our 20's Robin came with two other friends to Syracuse to see a Rolling Stones concert. I was living there at the time and had everyone back to my apartment for breakfast after the show. I made omelets seasoned with, amongst other ingredients, mustard and dill . Years later at a WOR, Robin told me that she often added those two spices to her omelets and thought of me every time

Robin was always quit with a smile even if she was advising me not to go through with a bonehead plan. Working with Robin was a joy and her light fun personality made the chores seem like rewards. She always gave me good advice. I will miss her. I am absolutely better for having known her and she lived her life to the fullest.

Sleep tight Robin.

I truly believe that I am a better person for knowing her. She inspired everyone with her wit and her smile.

Robin had a great sense of humor and could find the silver lining or a laugh in the late night hours while studying in Miller Hall at Hartwick. Robin and her friends Cheryl Plummer and Julie Staley were the Trifecta on the chemistry floor, although Robin's laugh was the loudest.
