Diane H. Snare 58 died Thursday January 29th at Glens Falls Hospital. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Diane was the daughter of Marilyn (Burns) Snare of Ballston Lake and the late Robert E. Snare.

A graduate of Shenendehowa High School, Diane worked as a waitress in the Lake George area for many years. A member of Christ Community Reformed Church, she enjoyed concerts (especially the Grateful Dead), loved her time boating and swimming with family on Lake George and being with her friends.

Beside her Dad, Diane was also predeceased by her sister Linda Atwell.

Survivors include her mother, Marilyn of Ballston Lake, her sister, Janet DeRusso (Craig) of Ballston Spa, nieces, Danielle Tortorici (Daniel) of Ballston Spa, Rebecca Walpole (Michael) of Amsterdam and Sarah Richburg (John) of Niskayuna, nephew, Craig DeRusso of Ballston Lake and her great niece Christina Rose and great nephews Hunter and John Joseph III..

A gathering will be held on Wednesday February 4th from 10 to 11 am at Christ Community Reformed Church, 1010 Route 146, Clifton Park, NY 12065. A funeral service will followed at 11 am at the church. Interment will be in Memory's Garden Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Diane's memory to the Christ Community Reformed Church or to the United Network for Organ Sharing,PO Box 2484, Richmond, VA 23218
