Myron "Mike" D. Pasquarella, 81 died Wednesday morning July 30th at HCR Manor Care in Potomac, MD. Born and educated in Schenectady, Mike was the son of the late Patrick and Theresa (Coppola) Pasquarella. A former milkman for the former Bellevue Dairy, Mike worked for over 20 years for the Golub Corporation before his retirement. A Navy veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace, he enjoyed bowling, hunting and was an avid fan of the Yankees, Giants and Fox News. Predeceased in 2011 by his wife of 56 years Mary (DiMenno) Pasquarella who he married on September 18, 1955, Mike was also predeceased by a sister Delores Simone. Mike is survived by his children, Carol P. Kalinkewicz (Keith) of Gaithersburg, MD, Cathy P. Lunde (Christian) of Sterling, VA and Joseph P. Pasquarella (Veronica) of Altamont, his sisters, Louise Kral and Vivian Kukulich of Schenectady, a brother Nicholas Pasquarella of Rochester, his grandchildren, Kelly Kalinkewicz, Julianna Pasquarella, Mary Rose Lunde, Sofia Lunde and Evan Harwood as well as many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday Morning August 9th at 10 am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 210 Princetown Road, Rotterdam, NY Relatives and friends are invited to attend. There will be no calling hours by request. Entombment in St Cyril's Cemetery in Rotterdam. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Mike's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 4 Pine West Plaza #405, Albany, NY 12205 or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
