Pauline A. Tedesco, 78, passed away at her home on Wednesday morning July 30, 2014. Born in Schenectady, Pauline was the daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Pawalczak) Divinetz. A former employee of the General Electric Company in the Turbine Department, Pauline retired in 2000 from the New York State Department of Tax and Finance after 15 years of service. Family was first and foremost in Pauline's life; she had a love of the New York Yankees and enjoyed watching with pride, her grandchildren's activities and accomplishments. She and Richard enjoyed their winters in Myrtle Beach and vacationing to many different places, but her favorite trips were to the Casino Resorts in Las Vegas and in the northeast. She was also a member of St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church. Pauline is survived by her husband of 58 years Richard R. Tedesco, her children, Cindy Makovich (Steve) of Burnt Hills, Jeffrey Tedesco (Barbara) of Altamont and Lori Burghardt (Fred) of Rochester, NY, her brother, John Divinetz (Linda) of Scotia, her grandchildren, Stephen Makovich (Jaclyn), Kerri Ferrari (Kris), Staci Makovich, Amy Tedesco and Elaina Burghardt and her step-grandchildren, Brandon, Ryan and Tara Black. A visitation will be held on Friday evening August 1st from 5 to 7 pm with a Litiya service at 5 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY. Funeral service on Saturday August 2nd at 10 am at St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, 67 Saratoga St.,Cohoes, NY, relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment in St Nicholas Russian Orthodox Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to her church or to the American Cancer Society, 1 Penny Lane, Latham, New York 12110
